Whether you’ve come often, or never before, join us on these special Saturday mornings to be refreshed in the quiet of His presence and in fellowship and prayer with others.
Filled with Joy and Peace by Our God of Hope
We sense that the Lord inviting us to draw closer and know Him more deeply as our God of Hope.The Bible is filled with the stories of people who discovered hope in trying situations. Abraham, against all hope, believed God. Peter, while under persecution, declared that God “has given us new birth into a living hope.” Jeremiah spoke God’s promise to a people in captivity: “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope.” Yet often we can identify with the struggle expressed in Psalm 42: “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God.” As we learn from the stories in Scripture and share our own stories, our prayer is that we will come to know more fully the hope found in God. May we encourage one another to trust Him, even in seasons of uncertainty, disappointment, or waiting – that we may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
