We are entering our 30th year of setting time aside with the Lord – time for opening our hearts to Him and listening for His counsel to us. Whether you’ve come often, or never before, join us on these special Saturday mornings to be refreshed in the quiet of His presence and in fellowship and prayer with others.
Walking With the Spirit
What can we gain this year as we focus on the Holy Spirit and what it means to “walk” with Him? For each of us there is a unique walk. As the Second Saturday core prepared for this year, He showed us that He wants us to know Him better.
His word to us this year is that we would know Him better by being with Him. Sometimes we breeze through our times with Him—remaining on the surface of our relationship rather than deepening it. We can respond to Him by asking what it means to walk with the Spirit. He will have different steps for each of us. We may find ourselves listening more for His voice, and understanding what steps we are to take. We may notice that we feel closer to Him, that our heart is opening like a flower, planted in fresh soil – our roots deepening daily in the soil of His love. Our hope is that in the various ways the Spirit walks with us, we will come to know His heart more deeply. May His grace and joy overflow in our hearts as we walk with Him.
